If you thought concerts were just about music, Seventeen just proved you wrong! The K-pop boy group teamed up with Airbnb to create “Seventeen The City”, a massive fan experience across Los Angeles as part of their “[New_] world tour,” which kicked off its U.S. leg last week. The takeover brought a mix of curated activities, fan meet-ups, and once-in-a-lifetime moments, all designed to make Carats (that’s Seventeen’s fandom) feel like part of the show.

From October 16th to 17th, the group’s back-to-back shows at BMO Stadium became the grand finale for a massive celebration: Fans enjoyed K-pop dance classes with real idol choreographers, glam sessions for hair and nails with top stylists, and a Seoul-style DJ party. Even Airbnb’s “Originals” experiences sprinkled some extra magic with sound baths at Santa Monica Beach and creative workshops to upcycle old concert merch, making it a bonding moment.

When the lights hit the stage, the 13-member group performed as nine since four members are currently serving in the military. Nearly 20,000 fans each night enjoyed solo moments from the nine members, which are all featured on “Happy BURSTDAY,” as well as their classic full-group hits. And the fun won’t stop in Los Angeles! . Airbnb and Seventeen will bring The City experience to Tokyo in December so that Japanese Carats have their turn to shine.
