Seohyun, a former member of Girls’ Generation, premiered her movie Love and leashes on February 11th, 2022 through the Netflix streaming platform. The actress recently appeared in an interview on South Korea’s The Manager, where she spent time with her friend Lee Hwanhee.
The two met when they were 12 years old and were together during the singer’s trainee days at the SM Entertainment company. The “Gee” singer mentioned that she felt uncomfortable when she entered the agency because there was no one to talk to, but she found out that her partner would be there and it was like her destiny.

However, only Seohyun was accepted to debut in the group Girls’ Generation. Seohyun confessed that her Girls’ Generation debut was one of the saddest episodes of her career.
This wasn’t because she didn’t want to be, but because her friend Lee Hwanhee wouldn’t be by her side.
“I couldn’t talk to her for days. She couldn’t be genuinely happy after hearing that I debuted.
CIn fact, he wasn’t happy at all.
She was very sorry and wanted to cry. I couldn’t get close to her“, said the singer.
Also, her time in Girls’ Generation was exhausting because of the albums they had to release and the concerts.
“To be honest, I felt bad. I couldn’t get close to you or go see you that often because she was so busy. But you were always there thinking of me”, confessed the singer.
Seohyun used to feel sorry instead of happy when she made it to become Girls' Generation member, bcs her only friend Hwanhee didn't make it, and the way she told the story is the heartbreaking one 😭
