During a recent interview, Sadie Sink opens up about Max taking so long to run back to her body in ‘Stranger Things,’ revealing that she didn’t notice how slow her character was at this important scene.

In her recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the actress was talking about watching the series finale on the big screen when she was asked by the host about her thoughts on the online movement that urges her character to run for her life.

Jimmy Fallon remembers a video that shows the people in the theater yelling, “Max, run, you’re going to miss your thing,” and “We want you to survive. Run!” when she was talking to Holly. To this the actress responds, saying, “I was doing it too, yeah”.

“When I was shooting it, I don’t know if the sense of urgency crossed my mind. But watching it, clearly I’m taking my sweet time with it. Like, why are we doing a podcast episode right now? Run!” making all attendees laugh.

On social networks, fans reacted to this revelation with comments like “HAHA honestly all of us had the same reaction lmao 🤣,” “that scene had me yelling at the screen”, “Sadie Sink roasting her own scene is hilarious 😭,” “Max said ‘side quest first, coma later’ 💀,” “Girlie is chronically online,” “I love.. Honest people she is so real in everything she says about this show.”
