During a recent interview, Sadie Sink revealed she discovered she had a role in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ on the internet amid the social media attention of the news.
In conversations for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the actress talked about her debut in the Marvel Universe and the torture of having to tell anyone about it but also made fans laugh by revealing the unexpected way she found out she was cast.
“Before I got cast … there was speculation online that said, ‘Sadie Sink is gonna be in the new Spider-Man’ … I was like, ‘I am?’ … Sure enough, two days later they were like… they asked me to do it.”
Sadie Sink said, adding that “Those theories sometimes have some truth to it,” making fans share their true reactions on social networks with comments like “Kinda insane that people online know it better than the cast itself,” “lmao thats wild,” “The internet really cast Sadie Sink before Hollywood did.”
