Meghan Markle’s reputation has gone downhill since she and Prince Harry gave up on their royal titles back in 2020 and it looks like things will not change anytime soon as it was recently announced that her podcast ‘Archetypes’ will not get a second season on Spotify. Despite this, she might be getting ready to reignite her career as an actress and regain her popularity.
In 2017, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that she was going to step away from her acting career to fully commit to her duties as a member of the Royal Family but her plans did not go as planned as she quickly became one of the most controversial and unpopular royal ladies. As a result, several international media outlets are currently reporting that she is ready to start working as an actress again and make it her primary focus, leaving the royal life behind.
Industry expert Mark Boardman believes that it is only a matter of time before Meghan Markle returns to the small screen and successfully relaunches her career:
“Meghan obviously has the children to worry about but acting is definitely going to be in the pipeline. She wants to be a leading lady and she will definitely go back into acting, she only needs to find her own career and identity.”
On top of that, her future might be brighter than it looks as Netflix released a statement to confirm that their deal with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is still standing and they are looking forward to creating a lot of content with the controversial couple.
