Every project has a playback stage and it seems that Rowoon is already in the script reading phase for a new series, a drama called The Matchmakers that promises to be a hit.
“The Matchmakers” is a romantic comedy drama set in the Joseon dynasty. It tells the story of the meeting between Jung Soon Deok, a young widow, and Shim Jung Woo, a young widower, and the difficulties they both face in marrying the four young women representing Joseon.
Rowoon will play Shim Jung Woo, who is cunning enough to become the youngest person to pass the civil service exam.
The first vice prime minister’s second daughter-in-law, Jung Soon Deok, will be played by Cho Yi Hyun. She lives as the best matchmaker in Hanyang City, Mrs. Yeo Joo.
