Rosé shares fan-made choreography on TikTok

On March 2, 2026, BLACKPINK’s Rosé posted a video on her official TikTok account performing choreography created by fan Kim Hee won. The routine was made for GO, a track from BLACKPINK’s third mini-album “Deadline,” which was released on February 27, 2026. In the caption, Rosé said, “Thank you to my great choreographer,” and tagged the creator on the post. The video quickly gained traction and pulled fans into an online discussion.

Some praised her for interacting with fans and promoting the song online. However, others criticized the message, pointing out that “GO” does not have an official choreography. The music video did not feature actual dance scenes, and the members did not shoot it together, which had already led to earlier complaints. As a result, online commentators became divided over whether the move was a smart promotion or just poor planning.

Strong fan sentiment around the Deadline mini-album

“Deadline” marks BLACKPINK’s first group project since 2022’s “Born Pink.” But what started as a celebratory moment turned into criticism and disappointment for many Blinks (that’s the name BLACKPINK fans have). Some took to social media to express their frustration over the “Deadline” release, pointing out that five songs were insufficient after approximately four years without a new group project. Others also criticized the quartet and their team for working with music producer Dr.Luke, who had been involved in sexual abuse controversies against Kesha.

BLACKPINK releases are still a massive hit

Despite criticism from online users and some Blinks, “Deadline” turned out to be a massive success for the group. According to the Hanteo Chart, the mini-album sold approximately 1.44 million copies on its first day. This number sets a new record for the highest single-day sales by a girl group in the chart’s history. The figure surpasses the record previously set by BLACKPINK themselves in 2022. As of their fifth day since being released, the project has sold approximately 1,6 million copies, making it their highest 1st week sales with two days remaining for full tracking.
