After the premiere of the video ‘HYBE T&D Story‘ released on HYBE LABELS’ official YouTube channel, RM showed favoritism and revealed in a new interview that without Jimin BTS, it would be a disaster, and thanks to Shin Seon-Jeong, this idol successfully completed the training and debuted with the band.
Namjoon’s words of appreciation for the head of HYBE’s idol group training and development department, Shin Seon-Jeong, were touching, and the fact that he thought there was a possibility that Jimin would not debut with BTS shocked the fans.

Even on September 30th, 2023, Jimin achieved a very important milestone for his career by surpassing 3 billion Spotify plays, proving BTS’ leader right that keeping Jimin in the band was the best decision: “His talent is amazing, plus he is a good friend“.
Currently, Jimin is doing his mandatory military service with his bandmate Jungkook, as they both applied for the special program ‘Company Soldier’ and can perform their activities inside the base together until their release and return to the music scene.
