Prince Harry’s relationship with the Royal Family has been going downhill since he gave up on his royal title in 2020 and published his memoir ‘Spare’ where he publicly attacked them, more specifically his brother Prince William which led to a feud between the two. To make things worse, royal experts believe that the only person who could put an end to their differences is their mother, the late Princess Diana.
After Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, he revealed that he decided to distance himself from the Royal Family as some of them were extremely racist towards Meghan and made some out-of-tone comments about their son’s skin color. Since then, the situation has not improved and it looks like things will not change anytime soon.
Jennie Bond, who worked as the royal correspondent for the BBC for many years, commented on the Duke of Sussex and Prince of Wales’ rivalry and ensured that Princess Diana was the only person who could have put an end to their feud:
“I’m sure her greatest wish would be to hug her boys again and find some way of resolving the rift between them. If anyone could sort things out, it would have been Diana.”
Although Diana is unfortunately not around anymore, Richard Palmer, royal correspondent for the Daily Express, claimed that King Charles III might be able to reunite his family and solve the differences between his sons: “I’m sure the King would welcome them back.” However, actions speak louder than words and it looks like Charles has not done anything to prevent his family from falling apart.
