A few hours ago, Princess Anne‘s husband, Sir Tim Laurence, visited her in the hospital after an incident that left her hospitalized and caused her to suffer a concussion last Sunday evening at her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire.
The royal’s partner demonstrated their union by visiting her, as he was seen arriving by car at the main entrance of Bristol’s Southmead Hospital shortly after midday on Tuesday, June 25th, with a bag of “just a few little treats from home” for his wife.
Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence lunched with Princess Anne for nearly two hours while she received treatment after the incident that is reportedly the cause of her being headbutted or kicked by a horse. After this, he shared some words, revealing she was doing “fine, slow but sure“.
He thanked all medical support, saying, “We are both profoundly grateful to the medical team and hospital support staff for their expert care (…)“. He also said, “We are both deeply touched by all the kind messages we have received from so many people near and far. It means a great deal“.
