Prince William is making moves to keep the royal limelight shining for his cousins, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. Despite this pair being non-working royals, they have been spotted at the Buckingham Palace garden party. The reason? A display of family solidarity and unity with the Prince of Wales, King Charles and Princess Kate Middleton.

The Prince of Wales hosted a Buckingham Palace Garden Party on behalf of his father, the King.

This extended royal invite is part of Prince William’s broader strategy to embrace the wider family circle in royal duties, reflecting on Queen Elizabeth‘s ll approach to the monarchy. It also contrasts with King Charles lll, who was all about slimming down and keeping royal commitments all to their main faces.

And it looks like Eugenie and Beatrice have shown eagerness to lend their support, especially considering Kate Middleton‘s preventive chemotherapy treatment and the King’s recovery from cancer. The proof? Eugenie herself took to Instagram to share moments from the rainy garden party, expressing her joy in supporting her family.

“Come rain or shine, I was delighted to support my family yesterday to meet some special individuals at the Buckingham Palace Garden Party who have gone above and beyond to support their local communities and the country.”

A source from The Telegraph noted that Eugenie and Beatrice’s involvement is crucial at a time when key members like Kate are unable to fulfill their usual duties. Their willingness to step up not only provides practical support but also reinforces the familial bonds that are part of the British Family they grew up in.

“They’re very willing to step up and do more at this current time, to help. They’re very fond of their cousin [William] and their uncle [King Charles], and they want to do everything they can to support them. And they believe in the institution they grew up in.”
