Prince William paid $2.5 million during vacations

Prince William has been distinguished as one of the most hard-working members of the Royal Family since King Charles III and Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis. The Prince has proven to the British people he is worthy of ascending to the throne once the time comes. However, he was also highly criticized for allegedly being paid while being absent from his royal duties.

In a new viral post by an “X” user (Formerly known as Twitter) “@BladeoftheS” explained that the Prince of Wales took four weeks off during which he received $2 million. The post stirred up controversy because detractors rekindled the flame of the abolition of the monarchy because of William’s non-sense situation.

The controversy over the alleged payment to Prince William soared to new heights. The royal followers and Netizens started to research where William’s salary came from. They found out that almost all of his finances are closely tied to the Duchy of Cornwall.

According to the Duchy of Cornwall estate’s 2023 annual report, Prince William received a private income of nearly $6 million last financial year. There is no doubt that the Prince didn’t receive money while he was on a short break to spend time with Kate Middleton and their children.
