Prince William and Prince Harry, along with Meghan Markle, have had a well-documented estranged relationship. Although William has tried to avoid public comments during his royal duties, a new report suggests that he is tired of the comparisons between Princess Diana and Meghan Markle after she toured Nigeria as part of the Invictus commitment.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s “faux-royal” tour in Nigeria was a complete success. Meghan stood out as a powerful personality with a great speech and rapprochement towards the communities, she was even compared to the modern version of Princess Diana.
Ultimately, the thousands of comparisons online made Prince William mad. On top of the several issues, William faced against Meghan and Harry after their Netflix documentary and subsequent release of the memoir, “Spare,” he couldn’t carry the weight anymore.
An anonymous royal source told Closer Magazine that he would describe Prince William’s reaction to Meghan Markle being compared to the late Princess Diana as “beyond tasteless and offensive.” This is just another of the tons of altercations the Royal Family had with the former royal couple, and a closer step to complete isolation.
