In the past, it was not common to see the future Prince of Wales exercising or accompanying his father in royal duties; however, Prince William has radically changed his position on his children since the absence of Kate Middleton and has decided to do something different.
With Kate Middleton completely out of royal duties due to her cancer diagnosis, William needs someone he can trust to accompany him to his engagements, and who better than his son Prince George, who in the future will become Prince of Wales and the future monarch?
For William, this is the most sensible decision, as it would serve as teaching and preparation for his son’s future. Additionally, he would be spending more time with George, as he would be making important visits and attending all the royal public engagements.
George also seems to be satisfied with his father’s decision, as he is constantly happy to be part of such engagements and always gets all the attention. William is also trying to involve Charlotte and Louis more and even shared that he makes some decisions with them, and this has not happened before under any reign.
