Prince William of the United Kingdom, has been accused by his younger brother, Prince Harry, of having received a large sum of money in exchange for withdrawing a series of complaints filed against the British newspaper ‘The Sun‘ for allegedly hacking calls and voicemails. As some of us know, the Duke of Sussex is the one who is currently suing this newspaper and also the Daily Mail, for exactly the same accusations that William and the British royals have made in the past.
Buckingham Palace and Rupert Murdoch‘s News Group Newspapers, the publisher in charge of publishing The Sun newspaper, reached a secret settlement over the historic hacking allegations. This is according to court documents filed on behalf of Prince Harry in the High Court in London, UK.
The published documents are part of the lawsuit that the youngest son of King Charles III is making against the media group that allegedly made an illegal collection of information.

Officials at Kensington Palace, which represents Prince William, told the prestigious CNN portal that it does not comment on legal proceedings made by any member of the family. Buckingham Palace reiterated the same position when asked about the issue.
In the documents published by Prince Harry’s legal team, it is assured that William received a “very large sum” from the owner of The Sun to resolve the accusations that the prince’s phone was tapped without the need to go to court.
In this situation, Prince William would have agreed to the deal to withdraw the allegations that had been made against the newspaper, so Prince Harry now has not had the slightest trouble to reveal it to the world.
