Prince William has given us a peek into the royal family’s holiday habits, and let’s just say, they’re more watery than expected! During a visit to Birtley Community Pool in Tyne and Wear on late September, the Prince of Wales spilled the tea on how the Wales spend their downtime.

“Catherine and I both adore swimming,” William said, adding that their son, Prince George, has taken to scuba diving like a natural. At just ten years old, George tried scuba diving, and guess what? He had no fear!

“George loves scuba diving. He was ten years old, we took him under, thinking he’d freak out, but he absolutely loved it. It’s just introduced him to the world of water.”

Prince William, a seasoned diver himself, took over from King Charles as President of the British Sub-Aqua Club in 2014. Meanwhile, Kate Middleton has her own impressive underwater resume; she earned a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver qualification back in 2015.
