Ultimately, Prince Philip used to call Meghan Markle the Duchess of Windsor secretly, or DoW as an abbreviation of the nickname. Although he never used the name directly, this might be one of the major reasons why Prince Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties and stayed away from the mistreats of the Royal Family.
