In the midst of the numerous rumors that have been sponsored in recent days regarding Prince Harry and the alleged and possible deportation from the United States that he would be suffering for having lied to obtain his visa, a lawyer close to the son of King Charles III has given the first statements on this controversial issue.

After an extremist and conservative group announced that it was going to demand the American law to publish the visa application that Prince Harry had made for possible lies he would have told, numerous portals had claimed that the Duke of Sussex could be deported from the country.

The immigration laws in the USA are quite strict and state that any person who lies to obtain his visa, would be facing a possible expulsion from the territory for up to ten years.

The husband of actress Meghan Markle has faced calls for his US visa application to be made public, after admitting in recent interviews and in his memoir ‘Spare‘ that he used drugs in the past.

Prince Harry officially responds to rumors that he was deported from the U.S.

But now, a lawyer close to the British royal says the duke is unlikely to face legal action over what he recently stated, including no action against his U.S. visa.

One of the lawyers working with Harry and based in Atlantic City told the British newspaper The Mirror the following:

I cannot imagine any viable scenario in which disclosures in a memoir relating to experimental and recreational drug use could have immigration consequences for Prince Harry“.

Where this would become an absolute problem is if there was a criminal case of any kind and if those allegations were related to drugs or alcohol and it was determined that he was a habitual user, which I don’t think is the case here, that would raise concerns and create real problems“.

Meanwhile, the lawyer has relied on the laws themselves to assert that the Duke of Sussex would not be facing any legal consequences for the recent claims he has made about his former drug use.
