Prince Harry has been the star of numerous controversies with the royal family because of his declarations in his memoir, ‘Spare.’ The prince tried to have a low profile since then, but until now he has broken his silence regarding the late Queen Elizabeth II one year after her death.
Prince Harry attended the WellChild: National UK Charity ceremony on September 7 where the prince decided to break his silence about the late Queen Elizabeth II during his speech in the ceremony:
“As you know, I was unable to attend the awards last year as my grandmother passed away. As you also probably know, she would have been the first person to insist that I still come to be with you all instead of going to her. And that’s precisely why I know, exactly one year on, she is looking down on all of us tonight, happy we’re together continuing to spotlight such an incredible community.“
This is the first time that Prince Harry spoke about a member of the royal family publicly since his memoir, ‘Spare’ because of the atrocious consequences that brought to both parties. This was pictured after King Charles III didn’t have time to have a meeting with Prince Harry and instead, the prince decided reportedly to visit his grandmother’s burial site on Friday.
