Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton has not been on the best of terms due to all the controversies they have been involved in. As a result, the possibility of a reconciliation is highly unlikely and it might never be possible.
The royal couples used to have a close relationship and even attended several events together. However, when Prince Harry published his memoir, Spare, they all decided to distance themselves from each other due to all the attacks and negative press.
On top of that, Harry assured that he got into a fight with William because of the constant criticisms towards Meghan Markle. The Prince and Princess of Wales also advised them to attend a costume party which they were highly for so they think that they support the idea with the purpose of sabotaging them.
As a result, several royal experts believe that the chances of reconciliation are extremely low. One of them is Tom Quinn, author of Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family:
“People I’ve spoken to who work for both William and Kate say this is never really going to be healed. Privately there’s a lot more anger than there is publicly, especially about the accusation William physically assaulted Harry.”
Quinn is convinced that the relationship between the two controversial couples is almost irreparable unless something extraordinary happens that brings them together once again.
