Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are used to receiving harsh comments from royal authors and British media outlets. However, this time they were attacked for no reason by their former secretary who made brutal comments, comparing them to teenagers.
Samantha Cohen resigned from her role as private secretary to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in 2019, after she took the job at the request of the late Queen Elizabeth II. Cohen previously worked 17 tears for the queen and also revealed why she resigned according to historian Valentine Low’s book, “Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown.”
On top of that, Samantha had an interview with the Herald Sun, where she explained she liked the job of working with teenagers, referring to Prince Harry and Meghan at that time. She also explained the officials were struggling to find someone who could replace her as secretary.
“I was only supposed to stay for six months but stayed for 18 – we couldn’t find a replacement for me and when we did we took them on tour to Africa with Harry and Meghan to show them the ropes but they left as well while in Africa.”
Ultimately, every single ally Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thought they had in the United Kingdom is slowly fading away. Everybody has something to say about one of the most controversial royal couples to say, and Samantha Cohen wasn’t the exception.
