The different music agencies have conveyed the idea of protecting their artists at all costs from malicious comments and false information. This time, TWS’s music agency, PLEDIS Entertainment, is ready to take strong legal action against the detractor with groundless arguments.
On September 19, PLEDIS Entertainment took over the platform Weverse to announce that legal action is underway against individuals spreading malicious posts about TWS. They revealed that they have been collecting harmful content through their own monitoring efforts as well as reports from fans.
“Legal measures have been initiated. We have requested account holder information from overseas courts to verify identities and pursue further action.”
In addition, PLEDIS Entertainment took a firm stance by confirming they will not be making any settlements or leniency. They will thoroughly gather evidence and hold individuals strictly accountable, even if it takes time.
