Pledis Entertainment, the agency behind SEVENTEEN, has been updating its legal action against the malicious comments regarding SEVENTEEN. The music agency is not holding back on any suspicious activity.

On September 26, the company posted a notice titled “Update on Legal Action Regarding Infringement of Artists’ Rights” on Weverse. The music agency is taking big steps to bring offenders to justice across multiple areas.

The idols will be protected at all costs from malicious activity

Pledis Entertainment is currently cooperating with the police department to curb illegal reselling practices. In addition, they addressed the issue of leaked confidential information regarding SEVENTEE’s upcoming albums and concerts, which circulated online several times.

“The investigation confirmed that the suspect was charged with leaking trade secrets, and the case has been transferred to the prosecution. The investigation is still ongoing. There will be no leniency or settlements regarding slander or defamation against our artists. We will respond actively until the end to ensure strict penalties are imposed.”
