The talented American singer, songwriter and actress was traveling with her mother for her performance at a festival to be held in the capital of Paraguay, Asuncion.
Miley Cyrus herself reported on her official social networks that during the early hours of Wednesday morning the plane in which she was traveling was surprised by an unexpected storm and was struck by lightning. The aircraft made an emergency landing at the Guarani Airport, in Minga Guazu, Alto Parana.

The iconic star indicated that unfortunately they were unable to make it to Paraguay. The visit of Cyrus to Paraguayan lands was supposed to take place on the second day of the Asunciónico festival, whose realization this day is unknown and it is not known what will happen due to the bad weather.
