Alcaraz was at a small ceremony where he had the opportunity to chat a bit with the Princess of Wales, who was accompanied by her daughter Charlotte and sister Pippa Middleton; however, the athlete was not very interested in a conversation with the last one.
Princess Kate started a brief conversation, saying, “We’ve watched a lot on telly“, and then added, “It’s great to finally get to meet you“. The tennis player who was excited about his victory formally said goodbye to the Princess of Wales, and her daughter, Pippa, despite her attempts to know him, simply went unnoticed.
This awkward moment was recorded, and it could be noticed the failed attempt of Kate Middleton for Carlos Alcaraz to meet his sister; however, he did not notice, leaving to celebrate his victory with the spectators present without even sharing the word with the sister of the royal.
