Celebrity gossip guru, Perez Hilton, has recently chimed in on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, attacking their Hollywood journey and the Duchess’ podcast! The blogger also pointed out Meghan Markle’s “Archetypes” series as “hilarious,” yet remarked on the monetary advantages the royal renegades have due to their tie to the monarchy.
The podcast, which had A-list guests like Serena Williams and Mariah Carey, wrapped its inaugural run on Spotify, leading Meghan Markle to join forces with Lemonada Media for another season. However, the shift hasn’t stopped Perez Hilton from throwing some massive shade. Speaking to Kinsey Schofield, the celebrity writer said that the former royal couple will have money coming their way, no matter what:
“They don’t even have to try. They will work in Hollywood because Hollywood, like the rest of the world, is full of sheep. They will want to align themselves with the British Royal Family.”
With this take, Perez Hilton suggested that, even if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s deals with Netflix or Spotify came to an end, that’s hardly indicative of failure for the couple! He spilled that being the son of the King and brother of the future king “keeps” the cash flowing. The result? Success for both the Dutch and the Duchess of Sussex despite the actual performance of their projects.
