Percy Jackson and the Olympians” just rocked the streaming world! That’s right Greek mythology lovers, the series premiered with a whopping 13.3 million viewers tuning in during its first six days on Disney+ and Hulu, so we can safely say that this new show isn’t just playing – it’s winning.

These impressive numbers land Percy Jackson and his demigod crew in the top five most-watched season premieres of 2023. With this, the beloved book-turned-series is up there with big shows like “The Mandalorian” season 3 and “Loki” season 2 on Disney+, not to mention Hulu’s star-studded lineup including “The Bear” Season 2 and “The Kardashians.”

This is an even more special hit when compared with some other popular series. For example, “Ahsoka” hit 14 million in five days, and “Loki” Season 2 grabbed 10.9 million in three. But Percy’s 13.3 million in six? That’s a major win! It looks like the series, targeting young audiences, was able to capture the hearts (and eyes) of teens and pre-teens.

As if that wasn’t enough, “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” also got the title for the most-watched premiere in Disney Branded Television history when compared to other hits like “Superkitties” and “Bluey” – talk about a debut that breaks records left and right.

So, if you haven’t dived into the Percy Jackson sea, what are you waiting for? We totally recommend you to get your eyes on the mythical world created by the dynamic duo Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg. Time to make demigods rule and viewership numbers soar!
