In July of this year Olivia Rodrigo and Rosé were seen having dinner in Los Angeles. Then, they met again during the MET Gala on September 13th. In an interview for Teen Vogue, the owner of the hit “good 4 u” told how it was to spend the fashion event with the member of BLACKPINK.
“She is the best. We were going to go out before, and she really is the loveliest angel ever.
I was so happy to sit next to her because I was so nervous and when I sat down I was like, ‘Oh my God, I have a friend here.’ She is absolutely the best, I couldn’t praise her enough. Very talented. Kindest person in the world too”.

In other releated news, Olivia Rodrigo had to give credit to Hayley Williams and Josh Farro in music “good 4 u” because of a tween “Misey Business” (2007) of Paramore. Many understood it as plagiarism, but this is not the case. In an interview with Teen Vogue magazine, Olivia Rodrigo opined:
“I find it disappointing to see people take things out of context and discredit any young woman’s work. But at the end of the day, I’m proud and happy to say that my job is to be a songwriter … Every song is inspired by another.
Obviously, I write my lyrics from the bottom of my heart, about my life first. I came up with the idea of the lyrics and melody for ‘good 4 u’ one morning in the shower”.
