OA Entertainment takes legal action against malicious content targeting BLACKPINK’s Jennie

Jennie’s agency says it is pursuing civil and criminal cases involving false information, manipulated media, privacy violations, and harmful content online

BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s self-founded label, OA Entertainment, announced on  August 18, 2026, that it is pursuing legal action against people responsible for malicious content targeting the KPop star. The company affirmed that it is taking both civil and criminal actions involving false information, defamation, privacy violations, and manipulated photos or videos. The company also made clear that it does not plan to offer settlements or leniency to those involved.

According to the label, this legal action is intended to protect Jennie from repeated online attacks and harmful content. OA Entertainment specifically mentioned the spread of false claims, edited images and videos, invasive material involving the singer’s private life, and other posts that can be considered malicious. In addition, the company also asked the fans to continue reporting harmful posts and malicious material online.

In addition, she has had multiple festival appearances across the world, showing her growing global presence.
