On August 22nd KST, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie released a grim teaser for the ‘FALLEN ANGEL‘ MV, making it clearer about the concept and history this song will follow.
The video revealed a unique, eerie vibe of a fairytale for adults, following a girl surrounded by theatrical scenery with grim houses and a dark atmosphere while the young idol looks outside from a window and says:
“Human greed has made them grow so heavy.
But little one, close your eyes like I do.
We can still fly.
Free as can be.”
The video continues with images alluding to a dark and adult fairy tale, loaded with symbolism and mystery, with instrumental music that perfectly enhances visual aesthetics.
‘FALLEN ANGEL’ will be out on August 28th at 1 PM KST, becoming the second musical release of the idol this month after the release of her single ‘Less Than a Lover.’
