BLACKPINK’s Jennie solo music project releases in late August

BLACKPINK’s Jennie dazzled the K-Netizens after releasing the “Less Than a Lover” single without previous warning. The idol, who is currently experimenting with a new sound within the Kpop scene, is ready to make a big splash with her upcoming musical release this month.

On August 19 KST, BLACKPINK’s Jennie has officially confirmed her solo comeback with a special EP release at the end of August. ODD ATELIER, Jennie’s solo music agency, has announced that the idol is gearing up for the new project.

The announcement comes after the idol performed as a headliner at seven major global music festivals, including the Governors Ball Music Festival in the United States, Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Open’er Festival in Poland, Mad Cool Festival 2026 in Spain, and Summer Sonic 2026 in Japan.

During the festival performances, Jennie has given glimpses of what’s next for all the fans with the upcoming project. The idol has performed some unreleased tracks, just like “FALLEN ANGEL” and “lockitdown” along with the pre-release single, “Less Than a Lover.” Are you ready for a brand new era?
