At the moment there are some very interesting film directors making a name for themselves, and without a doubt Robert Eggers is one of them, a director who is quite independent but commercial enough to be profitable and has proven it through his films that have not yet reached the pick of his success, as his leading man, Willem Dafoe, would have given us to understand.
Nosferatu would be the next big horror movie and the star confirms it.
Undoubtedly one of the next horror movies we are waiting for is Nosferatu, and even though it is hard to beat The Witch, one of the best horror movies I’ve seen, Willem dares to say that this movie is even better, so I can’t wait to see it. I’m anxious and excited.
“[Robert Eggers] is getting better and better, more and more eloquent, more and more clear. He’s very clear when he works,” Willem Dafoe said in a recent interview with IndieWire.
The third film of Willem Dafoe and Robert Eggers has been Nosferatu, after The Lighthouse (2019) and The Northman (2022), the last two films of the filmmaker. Its cast will be headed by Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult and Willem Dafoe. And we’ll get to see him in the Nosferatu film late next year, so we’re already getting excited and it’s still a long, yes, a whole year away. So December 2024, we already have a reason to look forward to the movies.
