BTS’ Jungkook’s recent Instagram post allegedly showing support for NewJeans became a hot trending topic in South Korea. On top of the criticism, NewJeans’ Danielle added fuel to the fire after editing her social media.
Danielle’s phoning status was “ur my ☀️ on a ☁️ day~:),” which was changed after Jungkook’s statement for “💙🩷💛💚💜,” accompanied by a sparkle, blue cap, and pink heart with arrow emoji.
BTS fans, better known as ARMY, interpreted Danielle’s status as a response to BTS’ Jungkook’s post. However, they also noticed that the blue cap could be representing ADOR’s former CEO, Min Hee Jin, because she famously wore a similar cap during her first press conference after she conflicted with HYBE.
Ultimately, fans agreed this was the ultimate low blow for BTS’ Jungkook who allegedly showed support for NewJeans. Although Jungkook had spoken up to protect the group, Danielle seemed to defend Min Hee Jin and started a whole new controversy.
