The game isn’t over just yet. Squid Game returns for its final chapter on June 27, and Netflix just dropped the explosive trailer during its 2025 Tudum: The Live Event. Lee Jung Jae is back as Gi Hun, Player 456, stepping into madness one last time. With deadly new games, old enemies, and a long-awaited face-off with the mysterious Front Man, Season 3 promises to be darker and bloodier.

Season 3 kicks off right where Season 2 left us, feeling heartbroken and furious. Gi Hun’s attempt to take down the system failed, and now he’s left standing alone with nothing but rage and regret. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk teased that this season dives deep into Gi Hun’s broken spirit, asking whether he can claw his way back from desperation and prove he can still win this deadly game.

Every game must come to an end.

The trailer features pure chaos: from the creepy return of the Red Light, Green Light doll Young Hee to wild new games that mess with players’ heads. Im Siwan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Sung Hoon, and Jo Yuri are among the new contestants trying to escape the brutal arena. The pink-suited guards are still patrolling, making their full-time job a violent type of thing.

The biggest twist? The long-delayed showdown between Gi Hun and the Front Man. In a chilling scene, Gi Hun steps into his lair as the masked villain finally reveals his face, asking a haunting question: “Do you still have faith in people?” Meanwhile, actor Lee Byung Hun promises intriguing surprises for the remainder of the series. With the final curtain about to fall, Squid Game is going all out.
