It seems that having streaming platforms is already a luxury, since if you want to watch a specific title, you must pay a monthly subscription and with so much supply, the demand is increasingly expensive, but there are such interesting productions that the world wants to see and this is an indication that the audience is willing to pay.

Every so often, the streaming platform Netflix has decided to raise the price of its platform, a decision that has made many users disagree and seek alternative measures to avoid paying such high costs that the service already has, to such an extent that they have decided to do extreme things.

Netflix has been playing more than once with users, from modifying prices to prohibiting more than one account profile without extra payment, making now paying for the Netflix service something very expensive per month.

According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, when the actor strike is over, the streaming giant plans to raise global subscription prices. This would not be the first time that the prices would increase for the platform and, above all, for users who pay month to month.

Around 4,000 people participated in a new CivicScience study conducted recently. The findings indicate that if Netflix increases its ad-free account fees, 39% of users will cancel their subscription. In addition, 31% said they would continue their current membership, while 29% said they would switch to the plan with ads. So 35% of subscribers to the ad-supported plan said they would cancel their Netflix account.

What do you think about it? Do you think it should be as expensive as it is now or should the service be more accessible to the general public?
