Being such a controversial movie, sound of freedom would quickly draw the attention of internet users, who would be looking for a way to watch the movie and the first search is always usually on streaming platforms, but apparently, on Netflix it would not be possible, since it rejected the movie for its catalog.

It turns out that Netflix refused to stream Sound of Freedom from several years ago. Recall that this movie was filmed in 2018 and faced several problems in order to be released in theaters.

Financial concerns were the main reasons why Netflix did not take the film into account to include it in its catalog, so that was the real reason why the company did not make a deal with Angel Studios.

Most likely the film will soon be available on some on demand system rather than subscription catalog, Peacock seems the most reliable alternative for the film, thanks to the agreements it has with its production company.

Netflix refused to stream 'Sound of Freedom' on its platform

In conclusion, it can be said that the cause of their rejection was more due to financial projection, but usually catalog contracts are under a license payment and not royalties, so an economic issue of projection would not be the main cause for the rejection.

What do you think about it? Have you seen the movie?
