The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call” is taking Netflix by storm, claiming the No. 2 spot in its worldwide TV show ranking by January 29, 2025! This Korean medical drama launched on January 24, 2025, and quickly rose to the Top 10 in 77 countries. Fans are buzzing as it even surged past the popular “Squid Game Season 2,” becoming the highest-ranked K-drama on the platform.

In less than a week, “The Trauma Code” soared from third place to second on Netflix’s global TV chart. Viewers across Asia, including South Korea, Indonesia, and Malaysia, propelled the show to No. 1 in their local rankings. It also reached the Top 10 in places like Chile, Romania, Peru, and more. With 4.7 million viewing hours logged between January 20–26, 2025, this K-drama has secured a dedicated fanbase!

Based on the web novel “Severe Trauma Center” by Lee Nak Jun, “The Trauma Code” follows doctor Baek Gang-hyeok, played by Ju Ji Hoon, who transforms his team into elite trauma specialists. The show’s explosive success has triggered talk of a multi-season arc, with Lee Nak Jun hinting at future installments.
