Netflix is giving fans one last look at Liam Payne with his final project, Building the Band, set to premiere in early July 2025. The reality competition show will feature aspiring musicians forming bands without seeing each other, relying only on musical chemistry. Hosted by Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean, the series also features guest judges Nicole Scherzinger, Kelly Rowland, and Liam Payne himself.

Netflix has now confirmed that "Building The Band", the talent show in which Liam Payne appears as a guest judge will be released.

The unique format promises contestants to build their dream bands from behind booths, only meeting their new bandmates after selections are made. Netflix teased the emotional and intriguing show during its annual Tudum event, later confirming the release schedule: episodes 101-104 on July 9, 105-107 on July 16, and the finale on July 23.

Tragically, this project marks Liam Payne’s final appearance following his death. The former One Direction star passed away after falling from his Buenos Aires hotel balcony, leaving fans, friends, and relatives heartbroken. His family has since reviewed and approved his participation in the show. Liam was laid to rest in November 2024, with his bandmates by his side. Building the Band now serves as both a musical celebration and a touching tribute to his legacy.
