A few hours ago, Netflix surprised fans by announcing ‘Bridgerton‘ season 5 is in production with a revealing new teaser starring the upcoming lead couple.
On March 24th, Netflix official accounts shared the first look at the next season of the series franchise based on Julia Quinn’s romance novels, confirming the production has begun, bringing fans the continuation of this story as soon as possible.
The teaser video shows Hannah Dodd as Francesca Stirling reuniting with Masali Baduza as Michaela Stirling on a balcony where they smile at each other and they timidly touch their hands. Netflix captioned video with the message “A certain countess shall find love again…”

According to Netflix’s description for ‘Bridgerton’ Season 5, this one will focus on the family’s middle daughter, Francesca, who found love after the death of her husband in the previous season, bringing a different kind of love to this society.
“Two years after losing her beloved husband John, Fran decides to reenter the marriage mart for practical reasons. But when John’s cousin Michaela returns to London to tend to the Kilmartin estate, Fran’s complicated feelings will have her questioning whether to stick to her pragmatic intentions or pursue her inner passions.”
