Netflix has been widely known for always hitting the nail on the head with incredible shows that have become part of popular culture. “Squid Game” was no exception to the rule, after it became one of the most popular shows worldwide, and now, the streaming giant has announced a new reality show based on the Squid Game titled Squid Game: The Challenge.”

This new reality show isn’t about life or death but there’s a lot in-game, after it was revealed that 456 players from different places are competing to win $4.56 million. With this, Netflix has the largest cash prize ever offered in reality television history. Undoubtedly, this cash prize is going to keep all the participants focused on giving the best of themselves.

Netflix announced the ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ reality show

Netflix released the official teaser from the reality show that opened up with the sound of the iconic animatronic doll, Yung-hee, which has a lot of weight in the Squid Game’s plot. The 456 players start to dwindle after a series of shocking eliminations.

Squid Game: The Challenge.” is all about showing how far the participants are willing to go in order to win. Each player will be pushed to their very limits with a lot of strategies, betrayals, and alliances.

Netflix’s “Squid Game: The Challenge.” is going to have 10 episodes that were filmed in the United Kingdom. Undoubtedly, the trailer already caused a furor among the Squid-games fans, who cannot wait to watch how the game is going to bring the fantasy to reality on November 22.
