On April 17 KST, Taeyong took over NCT’s official media accounts to announce the release of his new single along with the music video for “Rock Solid.” The hip-hop number combines a rhythm chant with an off-beat drum, marking a new sound for Taeyong as part of NCT.
Taeyong himself served as a lyricist for the track, showcasing the huge talent the idol has to offer as a solo artist. The music video is all about proving one’s wealth and riches, showcasing how to be proud of it. Meanwhile, the album still doesn’t have an exact release date, but it will be sometime in May.
