NCT’s Jaehyun releases a self-written solo track after completing his tour across Asia

The artist returns with "99 Degrees" after completing his first solo fan concert

NCT’s Jaehyun released his new solo digital single, “99 Degrees,” on Friday, July 10, 2026, marking his latest musical offering ahead of NCT 127’s upcoming return. The ballad was co-written by Jaehyun and explores the idea of finding true love through imperfections, using 99 degrees, just below the boiling point, as a metaphor. The track is also accompanied by a music video, which was promoted through a teaser one day before its official release. The sneak peek showed different sides of the artist, from performing on stage to spending quiet moments walking through the city.

The song arrives shortly after the NCT member completed his first solo fan concert tour across five Asian cities. The tour concluded last week and gave fans the chance to reunite with the KPop star after he finished his mandatory military service in May 2026. The release also comes as an affirmation that Jaehyun will continue growing as a solo artist while remaining active with NCT.

Jaehyun will soon reunite with his fellow NCT 127 members for the boy group’s next activities. The “Sticky” singers are scheduled to release their seventh full album on August 24, 2026, accompanied by a concert in Seoul the following month. The return comes during NCT 127’s tenth anniversary year, making it an important milestone for both the group and their fans as they celebrate a decade of music, memories, and fun.
