Taeyong enlisted in April 2024 and served in the Navy Band and Honor Guard, where he participated in official performances and ceremonial duties representing the military. The KPop star celebrated his discharge with a series of photos on social media, looking sharp in uniform and wearing a celebratory ribbon and holding flower bouquets. A particularly emotional moment was captured when Taeyong gave a deep formal bow to his mother right after his discharge, showing fans the love and respect he has for his family.
NCT and its current line-up in the military
While Taeyong steps back into the spotlight, several NCT members are still completing their service. Jaehyun, Doyoung, and Jungwoo are currently enlisted, effectively making the NCT 127 group inactive now that three members are in the military. However, with Taeyong officially back as of December 14, fans are already buzzing with excitement over what his era will bring.
