NCT’s Taeyong earns first win with “WYLD” on Music Bank

NCT’s Taeyong has made history after venturing into the solo side of the music industry with his album, WYLD. The idol, who didn’t hold back any of his performance skills, gave his all during promotions across various South Korean music programs, and his efforts paid off.

On May 29, a new episode of Music Bank was broadcast, featuring the amazing performances of ONEWE, ITZY, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, Taeyong, FLARE U, AND2BLE, YUHZ, IDID, HEART OF A WOMAN, among other great Kpop acts that hype the audience to the max.

The idol was also featured among the candidates for first place for “WYLD,” along with ITZY’s “Motto.” Ultimately, Taeyong crushed the competition with 6,586 points, while ITZY scored 5,924 points. The idol took over the stage to give a heartwarming speech after the announcement.

“I didn’t expect to win first place. I want to thank my company and NCT members, and I truly love CZENNIE fans. I’m also grateful to my parents. We currently preparing new music, so please look forward to it.”
