NCT’s Jaehyun is making a special comeback after being discharged from his military service. The news has come as a surprise to all the fans who were eagerly waiting for him since his last release in October 2024.
On July 3 KST, SM Entertainment announced that Jaehyun will release his new digital single, “99 Degrees,” on major music streaming platforms on July 10. The idol is set to make his grand comeback after one year and eight months since the release of his digital single, “Unconditional.”

The upcoming single is a ballad that begins with a piano melody before turning into a more complex ballad. The lyrics explore the essence of love and discovering complete love within the imperfect state. SM Entertainment also released a short statement about the upcoming song:
