Through a recent statement, NCT‘s Doyoung and Jungwoo announce they will pause their idol activities to enlist in their military service in December this year, 2025, saddening all their fans that will miss them.
A few hours ago, their agency, SM Entertainment, released a new statement revealing the K-Pop idol will enlist the same day, but one of them will be part of a military band:
“Doyoung will enlist on December 8 as an active duty soldier, while Jungwoo will enlist on December 8 after receiving a notice that he was accepted into the army band”.

“There will be no separate events held on their enlistment day, as the venue is a place with a large number of military enlistees and their families. Please refrain from visiting the enlistment site for safety precautions”, said the agency.
Doyoung and Jungwoo are the third and fourth members of NCT to enlist in the military, and fans react on networks. “Surprised but not surprised.
