The group got the first win with this shiny performance, but let’s say that some Internet users weren’t impressed…
Traditionally, the winner at the music show sings the song one last time at an encore. However, things became controversial as users criticized the group’s live singing abilities. While some of them praised the Japanese NCT WISH members, others didn’t seem convinced about their vocal skills. Some pointed out that they didn’t meet the standards usually associated with their peers from groups like aespa or NCT 127.
The debate opened up and some argued that the members may have been in poor condition, while others believe this points to a decline in their company’s vocal training quality. Whatever the reason might be, it’s clear this is just the initial chapter for NCT Wish. They are still young performers and will have the chance to improve over the years.
