Recent reports revealed that Mun Ka-young and Cha Eun-woo could reunite in a new drama 7 years after ‘True Beauty’ brings another iconic duo to the screens.
On September 8th, MyDaily informed that the renowned actress has been cast as the lead in the upcoming tvN drama ‘Seorabeol Knife,’ which was later confirmed by her agency, which revealed she is in talk for the role of Princess Deokyeong.
“She has received an offer to star in the new drama ‘Seorabeol Knife’ and is currently reviewing it.”
Despite the actor currently being in military service until January 2027, Naver reported he also received an offer to star in this drama playing the lead male role, an Italian chef who runs a one-Michelin-star restaurant, and he is reviewing the proposal.
‘Seorabeol Knife’ follows the story of the owner of a one-Michelin-star restaurant who time-slips to Silla. There, he reunites with a demanding gourmet princess, the only true royal bone of Silla. Both embark on a journey to discover the finest flavors in the world.
This news has drawn much attention among the K-drama community for the possible reunion of Mun Ka-young and Cha Eun-woo starring in another project together, especially after the success of their work in ‘True Beauty.’
