We are in a time of many changes, where many things that we thought were the norm, are no longer right and it is better to take them out of our daily lives and that includes books, as it seems that several will no longer be in circulation due to a ban that the United States is having.

With a list of more than 300 titles, there are books by even very famous writers such as Stephen King that are part of this ban and it has attracted a lot of people’s attention.

More than 300 books are being banned in the United States.

After the publication of an extensive list that included a variety of literary classics, the Collier County Public Schools in Florida, United States, banned more than 300 books from school libraries.

“Sixteen of my books? I must be doing something right,” mocked the popular writer Stephen King from his account on the social network X (formerly Twitter). The writer’s name appears 16 times on the list, indicating that it will not be possible to find those copies for young people who like horror literature.

Stephen King is not the only one on the list, as the following names can also be found: Judy Blume, Orson Scott Card, Stephen Chbosky, Mary Higgins Clark, Arthur C. Clarke, Pat Conroy, Janet Janet Janet, Mary Higgins Clark, Arthur C. Clarke, Pat Conroy, Janet Conroy and Mary Higgins Clark. Clarke, Pat Conroy, Janet Evanovich, Neil Gaiman, John Green, John Grisham, Ellen Hopkins, Khaled Hosseini, Sue Monk Kidd, Stephen King, Barbara Kingsolver, Dean Koontz, David Levithan, Patricia McCormick, Toni Morrison, Joyce Carol Oates, James Patterson, Ashley Hope Perez, Jodi Picoult, Anna Quindlen, Nora Roberts, Tom Robbins, Anne Rice, John Updike and Ibi Zoboi.

In view of this news, many people have already indicated that they do not agree with this measure and even consider it extreme and bad for writers. What do you think about it? Do you think that a good decision was taken after the banning of those 300 copies? What do you think they will ban next?
