Moonbin tribute sparks drama and has ASTRO fans split

On April 19, “Moon” will be dropped, a heartfelt tribute song for the late Moonbin of ASTRO — but not everyone’s feeling that way. While many fans are embracing the project as a beautiful way to honor him, others are raising eyebrows over the timing and intentions.

The song features an all-star lineup, including ASTRO, MONSTA X, SEVENTEEN, VIVIZ, Stray Kids, and even Moonbin’s sister Moon Sua from Billlie. Fantagio, ASTRO’s agency, says the tribute is about love. But guess what? A viral post from an ASTRO stan dragged the project:

“Moonbin is still not in their sight, and the members are just caught up in their own emotions and come up with things like this for their own good. Do you feel more at ease doing this? But even if that is, that is a problem,” the post reads.

Still, the majority of fans clapped back at the negativity. Many pointed out that Moon Sua’s involvement in the project proves it’s genuine and that fans and artists have the right to remember and celebrate Moonbin.
